  1. A question I have about the background to your problem is what kind of problems were students running into with graph interpretation? Was there an underlying common issue they were all having or was it all over the place?

One of the problems I can see with using technology such as MBLs is what do you do if there is no such program that you can use if you really need something supplemental such as that. I love adding technology to the classroom especially when it helps students who are otherwise having trouble, but you don't always have access to technology like that either there's no program to fit your needs or the lack of actual technology in the classroom. Of course, things are changing and technology is usually available for many classrooms, but it's not guaranteed at each school.

  2. I am curious about what you would include in your tests? For example would you already have the graph displayed on the pre or post test and then ask students questions about the graph to show their understanding? Or would they have to draw the graph themselves?

When I was in high school or college I took every opportunity to use a computer to graph things for me rather than drawing it myself. I think it is vital the students know how to do it both ways especially with the world continually advancing in technology.
